CAQ Applications are now open
Applications for CAQ have now started with a little change in the previous method.
Earlier students were required to courier hard copy documents to Quebec in order to receive their CAQ letter but because the international borders are closed now so there is no need to send any hard copy documents.
Students will have the facility to upload the required documentation on Arrima platform.
The Arrima platform allows a student to submit supporting documents for CAQ electronically. The students must complete the online CAQ application and pay the required fees of CAD 116 online in order to continue with next steps.
The steps are as below:
1.Prepare the documents
Once the application has been submitted, students will receive a checklist on the portal Online application for temporary selection for studies. They will find a list of the supporting documents to be submitted on Arrima. Make sure that every page of the same documents has been digitized in one file and saved in PDF (Portable Document Format). The documents must be legible, complete and accurate.
2.Access file number
48 hours after submitting the Online application for temporary selection for studies, student will receive, in the section “Access my file,” a file number that will be required to submit the documents in Arrima.
3.Create the account on Arrima platform
When creating student’s profile on Arrima, make sure to indicate the same first and last names that appear on the passport, that is, the first and last names entered when submitting the application on the portal Online application for temporary selection for studies.
4.Submit the documents on Arrima
Follow the instructions in order to proceed with the submission of the documents. Once the documents have been submitted, a notification will be sent by e-mail and, in the Arrima message centre, there will be a message confirming that the documents have been submitted.
Relevant information on Arrima
- It is advisable to use a personal computer or a tablet to access Arrima. The application does not allow navigation on a cell phone.
- You should use the latest version of one of the following browsers:

- You should also use one of the following operating systems:
- Windows (version 8.1 and later)
- Mac OS (version 10.2.4 and later)
- iOS (version 11 and later)
